Nehemiah had these elements working in his life:
- Compassion
- Prayer
- Focus
- Determination
- Unity
- Favor
Let's talk about favor. Everyone loves that word! We like to be favored in God's eyes and man's. Favor is defined as this: God making sure His blessings are active in our lives. Through confessing the Word of God we can speak favor into existence by faith. Proverbs 12:2 says that good people get favored by God. "Good" can mean behaviorally, spiritually, walking in obedience to God, etc. So, be good and expect God to add favor to your life!

Hi Cindy...this is fun....I think for me the words prayer and focus stood out the most....I have been dealing with prayer focus a lot lately...and I agree about the power of our words, we frame our world with our words...thanks for sharing and have a blessed day...:)

ReplyDeleteThank you Cindy!! Determination and focus stood out the most for me because I usuallly give up quickly or don't even try if I feel like I can't do something. Hearing His word made me confident!! I am enjoying the Ladies Bible Study very much and am looking forward to the rest.

Great message! Especially the part about staying focused on what God has told us to do. I wrote down everything I could remember that God has told me to do and just evaluated where I stood with that. It was a wonderful revelation.
